My investigative experience and training spans thirty years. I began in local law enforcement in Central Illinois with training in Crime Scene Processing, Photography, Latent Fingerprint Identification and various techniques. I have been qualified as an expert witness in fingerprint identification and held a Latent Print Examiner Classification. I participated in invesigating many major crimes and developing several first time court presentations where convictions had been successful. I also participated in training of numerous law enforcement personnel in local and State levels. My experience in this field consisted of eleven continous years, followed by several temporary asignments.

I continued in Law Enforcement in a Tactical/ SWAT, Unit where I specialized in various weapon systems and security/protection situations; These situations included protection of four U.S Presidents and a sitting Supreme Court Justice. High risk entry, stakeout details, high profile targets and numerous security details involving various at risk locations were conducted. I participated in surveillance details including photography, tailing and decoys. I conducted training presentations related to weapons use, entry techniques and tactics for Law Enforcement personnel.

I volunteered for the Field Training Officer program and particpated in Training law enforcement officers in patrol tactics. I left this program and retunred to uniform patrol duties until transferring to the Criminal Investigation Division. In this division I was responsible for Property Crimes and assisted with Violent Crimes and Fraud cases. I was trained at the University of Illinois Fire Service Institute for Fire/Arson Investigation and subsequently finished the additional training requirements to become a State of Illinois Certified Arson Investigator. I attended the U.S. Department of Justice/ Federal Bureau of Investigation Post Blast Investigator School and currently hold a State of Illinois Explosives license and a U.S. Department of Justice Federal Explosives license. In addition to these duties, I was a founding member of the Central Illinois Cyber Crime Federal Task Force. This task force was responsible for many major cases involving identity theft, on-line solicitation and child pornography .Forensic computer data acquisition, search warrant execution and federal court case presentatioins were duties performed while maintaining federal credentials and working extensively with USPS, FBI, Cook County, State of Illinois and other States, U.S. Military and local law enforcement. Training in these areas was also conducted for law enforcement personnel . I am an active member of the Associated Detectives and Security Agencies of Illinois, Inc and the International Society of Explosives Engineers.
